DECALIA Capital is an independent management company dedicated to investing in Swiss SMEs. DECALIA Capital is controlled by its management and by DECALIA Group.
Partners in your ambition
Like you, we are entrepreneurs before being investors
At DECALIA Capital, we partner with Swiss SME owners who want to accelerate growth, strengthen governance, or plan successful transition.
We believe real value creation starts with understanding your business model, people, and market. Not just your numbers.
Our team combines entrepreneurial experience with investment expertise to help you expand sustainably.
Our approach
Understanding you
Grasping how your business works
A thorough study of your business model allows us to understand the passion and convictions that drive you, so we can then share our expertise with you at every stage of your development or during your succession.
Strengthening your organisation and optimising your processes
Going to the next level
We advise you on how you can institutionalise your governance and streamline all your processes —whether in services or industrial activities— on how you can improve operations or on development projects. Our goal is to consolidate strengths and improve your company’s productivity to make it more sustainable.
Accelerating your growth
Identifying your company’s potential and unlocking its value
We help you implement your development strategy and support your domestic or international expansion projects.
This growth is achieved not only through a well-defined organic growth strategy but also through targeted Buy & Build acquisitions.
Financing your expansion
Seizing opportunities thanks to our financing capacity
In a constantly evolving environment and faced with fierce competition, companies must continuously improve by innovating and investing in human capital and industrial capabilities. This investment can take many forms, whether developing new activities or products, entering new markets, or integrating other companies.
We can support your expansion by providing the necessary capital.
Organising your management transition
Realising the added value of your work
In a family-owned SME and/or one run by its founder, the company’s sustainability depends on its management team. Entrepreneurship is above all a matter of people, and a successful succession relies on an effective managerial transition.
That is why we make majority or minority investments in order to meet the needs of entrepreneurs and to implement succession plans tailored to each situation.
Our investment criteria
We invest in companies with management teams that have a strong desire to accelerate their growth and support founders who want to plan their succession and secure the future of their company.
The companies we invest in meet the following criteria:
Swiss SMEs
We prefer small and medium-sized Swiss enterprises generating up to CHF 150 million in revenue, with a core target between CHF 20 and CHF 80 million.
No sector constraints
Our curiosity and entrepreneurial approach enable us to explore all types of industries and sectors. What matters to us is the strength of your business model and the quality of your products, services, and teams.
Strong and sustainable competitive position
We prefer companies with a strong strategic position in growing markets, as this gives them a lasting competitive advantage.
Family or independent management, but always entrepreneurial
Our priority is to support businesses run by families or entrepreneurs, backed on experienced and motivated managements teams.
Growth track-recod with significant development potential
We primarily seek companies with a solid expansion history and ambitious yes realistic development plans.

Your success: our mission
We see ourselves as partners rather than passive investors, and want to play an active role in situations involving transfers (LBOs, LMBOs, OBOs, etc.) or development.
That’s why we take majority or minority stakes with significant rights of control. In addition, we systematically sit on the Board of Directors.
This is how we can help you realise the full potential of your project and/or support your transmission in an effective and pragmatic way.
