Alfredo Piacentini began his financial career in 1986 at Bank Lombard Odier as a financial analyst and fund manager, both in Geneva and London, before founding Banque SYZ in 1995 with his other Partners.
As partner and co-CEO of the SYZ Group, he was in charge of private banking, discretionary portfolio management and the Oyster investment funds until his departure in 2014 (CHF 33 bn of assets under management).
He was also a board member and then Chairman of Banca Albertini SYZ in Milan from 2000 to 2019.
Alfredo Piacentini holds a Master degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, obtained in 1981.

Jean-Michel Darrois founded the prominent French law firm Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier in 1987. He advises businesses, boards of directors and senior management, as well as high net worth individuals, in major transactions and disputes. He was a member of the Conseil de l’Ordre.
He chaired and remains a member of the Company Law Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE).
At the request of the French president Nicolas Sarkozy, he presided over the Darrois Commission on the Reform of Professions in 2008, and was a member of the Attali Commission on Growth. He is a Commander of the Légion d’Honneur.

Rodolfo De Benedetti also worked for Bank Lombard Odier and Shearson Lehman Brothers in the US.

Paolo Luban
Board Director
Paolo Luban began his career in finance in 1984 with Bordier & Cie, where he was first involved in the European equity markets then, in 1989, became head of the financial and strategic research department.
In 1995, Paolo Luban founded Banque SYZ with Alfredo Piacentini and Eric Syz. As Partner and General Manager, he contributed his macroeconomic skills, ability to develop quantitative models and expertise in asset allocation. In March 2014, he left Banque SYZ to focus on personal projects.
He is an economics and arts graduate.
Isabella Pedrazzini
Board Director
Isabella Pedrazzini began her career in finance in 1986, spending 26 years at Bank Lombard Odier in Geneva. As Executive Vice President, she held several positions in portfolio management and was in charge of a significant private clientele.
In 2013, Isabella Pedrazzini co-founded Dalia Capital, which became DECALIA Asset Management in 2014.
She holds a Master degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva and a postgraduate diploma in Public Administration from Institut de Hautes Etudes en Administration Publique in Lausanne.

Sébastien Demole

Sébastien Demole began his career in 2002 at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London, as a junior trader. Two years later, he was sent to Hong Kong to develop the equity derivative trading desk.
In 2009, he joined the Parisian hedge fund Boussard & Gavaudan Gestion as a proprietary trader for the multi-strategy fund.
Sébastien Demole opened the PerenInvest Family Office in Switzerland in 2012, where he was in charge of investments in various asset classes, such as direct deals in Private Equity.
He holds a BSc in Economics from Queen Mary, University of London and an MBA from INSEAD.
Xavier Guillon
Partner – Head of Business Development & DECALIA Funds – Member of the Executive Committee
Xavier Guillon is also a board member of the Alliance of Swiss Wealth Managers (ASWM) since 2017 and a member of the Investment Committee of the International Labor Organization (ILO) since 2009.
He worked for 14 years at US private bank Brown Brothers Harriman, in London and New York, heading institutional sales. He then joined Banque SYZ in 2007, where he held a number of functions, including CEO of the Oyster investment funds and member of the group’s Executive Committee.
He holds an MBA in International Marketing and a BBA in International Business from Georges Washington University.
Nicolò Miscioscia

At DECALIA, Nicolò Miscioscia is Head of Private Markets, an activity that he helped to develop since its inception. He is also Co-Portfolio Manager for Private Markets funds and mandates managed by DECALIA.
Nicolò Miscioscia is a chartered accountant (ACCA) and holds a Bsc in Management from Cass Business School in London.
He began his career as an auditor in the financial sector, spending 4 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Geneva and Luxembourg. He then co-founded U-Start Club in Lugano and Milan, a private markets platform specialised in venture capital syndications.
Yves Rochat

Yves Rochat was COO at Banque SYZ for 17 years, working there from its founding in 1995 up until 2013.
He also worked for Société Générale, Unibank (Suisse), and Banca Monte Paschi (Suisse) SA.
Yves holds a Master degree in Business Administration from HEC Lausanne.

Eric Buehler

Eric Buehler, Head of Compliance, has over thirty years of experience in this field, including twenty years as a compliance manager at Crédit Agricole Indosuez, Mirabaud, Héritage and most recently at Reyl.
Before specializing in this field, Eric was Head of Operations at BNP Paribas and was also responsible for internal audit at Edmond de Rothschild and later at BNP Paribas.

Michel Cogne worked at Bank Pictet & Cie for twenty-six years. As Executive Vice President, he was in charge of a significant private client portfolio.
He also developed extensive experience in real estate at Naef Immobilier, where he managed the finance and administration departments for six years.
He started his career in 1982 as an auditor with Arthur Andersen.

With extensive banking experience gained at various banks in Frankfurt and Paris, Susanne took over the management of the Zurich branch of Crédit Agricole Indosuez in 1996 and became a member of the Executive Committee in 2001 with responsibility for the European and International private banking business and the independent asset managers’ desk. In 2016, Susanne joined Banque Heritage in Zurich as Managing Director to further develop a UHNWI client base mainly resident in the Middle East, UK, Switzerland and Singapore.

Philippe Mathenet worked for seven years at Banque SYZ as private banker and right-hand man to Alfredo Piacentini.
He has over twenty-five years of financial industry experience, notably with Bank Lombard Odier in equity brokerage in New York and Swiss equity fund management in Geneva.
Philippe Mathenet holds a Master degree in Chemical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, as well as a federal diploma in Financial Analysis & Asset Management.

Alexander Roose has spent fifteen years with Degroof Petercam Asset Management (DPAM), where he was CIO Fundamental Equity overviewing more than EUR 10bn in assets under management. At the same time, he was actively involved in the day-to-day management of five funds totalling more than EUR 6bn.
Before joining DPAM, he was respectively a portfolio manager of a long-short fund at Joalco and thematic analyst at Strategus.

Maria Alarcon began her career in the financial sector in 1986 as management assistant and executive assistant at Atlas Management.

In 1996, Daphné Smits joined Banque Piguet & Cie in Geneva where she was appointed Assistant Vice President. She worked for the CEO and the Management Committee for twelve years before joining the Marketing and Communication department as Officer and Webmaster of the bank Piguet Galland & Cie until 2016.
She started her career with Banque Scandinave en Suisse in 1993 as Management Assistant.

Prior to DECALIA Reji Vettasseri was a senior member of Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners EMEA team with lead responsibility for credit strategies. Previously he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs within the M&A EMEA Industrials team and a Strategy Consultant at Bain & Company.
Reji Vettasseri holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a MSc and BSc in Law from University of Cambridge.

After a few internships in Milan notably at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Arcangela started her career at Credit Suisse in 2014 in the Wealth Management department. Since January 2018, she was Senior Relationship Manager at Credit Suisse in the UHNW Wealth Management division where she was in charge of Key Clients in Italy and Monaco.
Arcangela holds a Master’s degree in Amministrazione, Finanza e Controllo from Bocconi University in Milan.

Damien Weyermann worked for 9 years at Bank Lombard Odier and Bank Vontobel as an analyst in equity brokerage.
He then joined the asset management industry in 2010, first with Lloyds International Private Bank and then Coutts & Co as an equity analyst and portfolio manager for UHNW clients.
Damien Weyermann holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration & Economics from the University of Geneva and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (2004).

Rodolfo De Benedetti is currently Chairman of the Board and majority co-shareholder of the Italian group CIR, where he served as CEO for eighteen years.
He currently chairs the Harvard Business School’s European Advisory Board and is a member of the European Round Table of Industrialists.
Rodolfo De Benedetti also worked for Bank Lombard Odier and Shearson Lehman Brothers in the US.
He holds Master degrees in Political Economy and Law from the University of Geneva.

Sébastien Demole began his career in 2002 at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London, as a junior trader. Two years later, he was sent to Hong Kong to develop the equity derivative trading desk.
In 2009, he joined the Parisian hedge fund Boussard & Gavaudan Gestion as a proprietary trader for the multi-strategy fund.
Sébastien Demole opened the PerenInvest Family Office in Switzerland in 2012, where he was in charge of investments in various asset classes, such as direct deals in Private Equity.
He holds a BSc in Economics from Queen Mary, University of London and an MBA from INSEAD.
